Can I upload photos directly from my smartphone or mobile device?

Yes, you can upload images directly from your mobile device. As long as the photo is accessible or saved to your Gallery or Photo stream, you should be able to access and upload directly from your smartphone or tablet directly from the mobile web browser (example is for iOS):
