How to use Insta360 Cameras with Momento360

Momento360 is fully compatible with Insta360 cameras, but before uploading your images, you’ll need to process them first. Insta360 cameras capture raw 360-degree images in INSP format, which must be stitched before they can be uploaded to Momento360.

This guide walks you through how to process and export images from your Insta360 camera, using either the Insta360 mobile app or Insta360 Studio for desktop.

Option 1: Using the Insta360 Mobile App

If you prefer to process your 360-degree images on your smartphone, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Insta360 app on your phone.
  2. Select the photos you want to export.
  3. Use the Export function to save them to your phone’s gallery.
  4. Make sure the images are saved as JPG or PNG format.
  5. Upload the processed images to Momento360.

📌 Note: While convenient, this method may be slower and use a significant amount of your phone’s battery. For better performance, we recommend using the desktop method below.

Option 2: Using Insta360 Studio for Desktop (Recommended)

For faster processing and batch exporting, Insta360 Studio is the best option. Follow these steps to process and export your images:
